Take Me To Funtown (Booklet)
Georg Morgenstern is a lonely old man who lives in his small apartment with virtually no contact with the outside world. At his kitchen window, he reflects on his long life, marked by adventures but also by strokes of fate that no one would wish for. No one suspects his dark secret. Not even himself.
A soulful and touching story based on the instrumental album of the same name, lavishly illustrated. Spotify codes for the songs are also included.
BALANCE - Come To The Real World
In 1992, Ray Mohra, Peter Andreas and Detlev Wabner spontaneously got together and recorded a few songs - just for the fun of it. Back then, everything was still analogue, with just four tracks. It was a real challenge and meant a lot of effort, but the result is still impressive today!
MONA
I was lucky enough to meet Mona Babberger from Freudenberg in 2001 during the children's musical Tabaluga (directed by Werner Schmidt). She was 12 years old at the time - and even then she sang a few of my own compositions in my small home studio. Jörg Schenk contributed the guitar parts. One highlight: we re-recorded the song "Bye Bye" a few years later - and you can really hear how her voice has matured. Great job, Mona!
Ray's Recording Treasure
On this page I have collected some of my older recordings. They were made in the years 1998-2003. For my songs I was able to welcome great singers like Andy Link ("Aurelia"), Jojo Weber ("Blank Letter") and Peter Kolke ("Indian Summer") to my home studio in Freudenberg. Jörg Schenk contributed many guitars. And for "Why Should I Fall in Love", I even got on the mic myself.
Wunderkinder - Ray & The Hazelbears
At Christmas 1999, I had a very special idea for my mum's birthday: a Christmas CD with all her grandchildren! The recording sessions were simply marvellous - full of fun, laughter and little surprises. Jan, Philipp, Daniel, Kim, Kevin, Niko, Gabi and Bärbel sang along - a real family ensemble! And what can I say: there wasn't a dry eye in the house when the presents were handed over - a few tears of joy flowed too.
Krammers Turntable
Autumn 1984. Only a few hours after his eighteenth birthday, Andi Krammer finds his father dead in his flat. Was it murder? For the teenager, an odyssey begins that takes him back to his own childhood as well as to his father's mysterious past. Without suspecting it, he gradually finds himself in great danger. But Andi gets help from the most unexpected side ...
An extraordinary story - as captivating as it is entertaining
Krammers Faktum
Late summer 2024. Forty years have passed since Andi Krammer's father was murdered when strange things suddenly start happening in his former apartment. A summoned necromancer finally finds a "faktum" there and announces that the spirit of the murdered Krammer is seeking contact with his son Andi, who now lives in Bavaria and has no idea that a dangerous killer of women is up to mischief in his immediate vicinity.
An extremely turbulent and exciting story takes its course, but first there is the question of how to get a ghost to Bavaria.
